Who we are...The Ilminster Mid-summer Experience is run by a non-profit-distributing company called Experience Ilminster Community Interest Company Ltd.  The company is limited by guarantee.  We have received two grants from SSDC which enabled us to get up and running and hold 3 festivals so far.  We are very grateful for their help! 

The formal objects of the company are to celebrate Ilminster's community life and history by promoting events and activities.  In practice the purpose of the company is to organise the annual Ilminster Midsummer Experience.  In the future the company may take on other community events or occasions.

The Directors of the company are voluntary and are drawn from the community.  We rely on the support of the people of Ilminster and the surrounding area and welcome approaches from interested people to contribute in any way to its operation.

Why we do this...

a.   To highlight the uniqueness of Ilminster and it's history,

b.   Because Ilminster likes a good party, or

c.   Because we are a bit nuts!

d.   All of the above!
