Looking for Treasures?  Come to Ilminster...

There are treasures to be found in Ilminster! We're looking for householders to participate in the largest organised strolling garage/garden sale in Ilminster on Sunday 10th June 2012 from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

This year the Strolling Garage sale is an extension of the events happening at the Recreation Ground.

The route will start at the Recreation Ground on Orchard Vale...continue up Orchard Vale pass Vaughan Lee House who will be having a stall and if you are lucky you just might be entertained with a song by the much loved Ernie Skinner! 

The route carries on up Herne Rise, turning left on Springfield and then left again on Lister's Hill.  Follow down Lister's Hill back towards the town and the road eventually turns into Ditton Street.  At the Tesco Petrol Station turn left again onto Canal Way and then shortly turning left to the Recreation Ground again which will complete the Strolling Garage Sale route.  This route is approximately 1.5 miles and a lovely walk. 

There will be lots of stalls and who knows... you just might find your own Treasure!

It's an Ilminster thing!
